About Us

Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.

The Coptic Church

The Coptic Orthodox church is an ancient apostolic church established by St Mark, author of the gospel of Mark, in Egypt during the first century AD. Copts have had a solid historical role in the Christian church, with contributions to the central Christian dogmas of the Trinity, Christology, monasticism, and other parts of early Christian life.

Today, there are over 10 million Coptic Christians in Egypt, comprising the largest Christian group in the middle east. There is also a sizable community of Coptic churches all over the world, with hundreds of churches across North America, South America, Europe, Australia, Africa, and Asia.
